The Middle of the Miracle

We love the "before and after" stories. We celebrate the moment the vision is cast, and we cheer when the goal is finally reached. But we rarely talk about the messy middle. The Tuesday afternoons where the dream feels more like a heavy backpack than a set of wings. In the middle, discernment feels less like a mountaintop revelation and more like a daily choice to stay faithful to what you heard in the light when you’re currently walking in the fog. It’s the space where we are tempted to either quit because it’s taking too long, or to help God out by forcing a door open that isn’t ready. True vision isn't just about the destination; it’s about who you become while you’re waiting. The middle isn't a delay but rather it’s the training ground. It’s where your ego is pruned, your trust is built, and your capacity to hold the "more" is actually created. If you are in the middle today and feeling the gap between what is and what could be, just remember: the miracle isn't just at the finish line. The miracle is that you are still walking.

Reflection:

What is one thing you can do today to honor the "middle" of your journey without rushing to the end?
